In an interview with terrorist leader of Hamas http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/7452669.stm BBC starts the article with this:-

Hamas militants in Gaza have killed another civilian - a man in a kibbutz. The Israeli Defence Forces have killed another civilian - a six-year-old Palestinian girl.

Here in Damascus, I asked the Hamas leader Khaled Meshaal if killing people, like the man on the kibbutz, was "part of legitimate resistance".

WHY??!!! WHY??!!! Why is the non-sequitor " The Israeli Defence Forces have killed another civilian - a six-year-old Palestinian girl. put in that article??

Its not part of the interview questions concerning Hamas Terrorist responses towards Israel.

It is made clear that the Hamas attack was deliberate but NOT made clear that the Palestinian girl's death was as a result of an action against Hamas Terrorists and NOT deliberate targetting of the girl. In fact WHAT PALESTINIAN GIRL???

No reference was made to any incident. The last "Palestinian girl" killed in Gaza was due to a Hamas 'work accident'.

BBC is anti-Israel and introduces spurious statements that aren't even substantiated as fact.

WHY IS THIS STATEMENT ABOUT A PALESTINIAN GIRL'S DEATH RELEVANT IN THIS CONTEXT??????

UNBELIEVABLE!

Having stamped on a discussion about "Israel's ambassador says Britain has become a hotbed of radical anti-Israeli feeling" (see previous Useful Idiot items) because they said the link was to an opinion piece and NOT a News item, we found another (sympathetic) poster discovered that the Telegraph had BOTH a News item AND Opinion piece so that readers could have a discussion about the News item.

So, the poster provided the CORRECT News Item link (AS REQUIRED BY THE BBC) so that the discussion could take place. We managed to capture that post

And now Hidden!

So, even when you OBEY the rules set by the BBC they STILL ban a discussion positive towards Israel. We wonder if they are NOW saying it can't be discussed at all because two other threads related to the story exist. BUT, YOU CAN'T ACCESS THEM TO DISCUSS THE STORY. Effectively, the BBC can close down a discussion if they are so motivated by hate and prejudice.

Wew wonder about the background of the Moderators. Is there something underhand and political taking place? This needs and investigation.

We refer you to our previous item. The story: Someone posted an item at BBC 5Live Messageboards concerning the speech by Ron Prosor http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/middleeast/israel/2100428/Israel%27s-ambassador-says-Britain-has-become-a-hotbed-of-radical-anti-Israeli-feeling.html. In the first discussion the poster highlighted the Academic Boycott element of his speech. That thread was Hidden for some unknown reason.

A second attempt to make a post about this titled "UK Hotbed of anti-Israeli sentiment " with a minimalist comment was made to completely disappear!!!!

In the case of the Academic angle on Ron Prosor's item they simply left the discussion in place but Hid it so that no more discussion could take place. But to COMPLETELY REMOVE AND SEND INTO OBLIVION a similar post seems draconian and highly suspicious.

But then somethjing very strange happened. After we spotted this and highlighted it with evidence they had completely removed the posting, and after someone had further put it up as a news item at LGF - Lo And Behold THEY PUT IT BACK. Most likely having been caught out they had to do something since they couldn't deny the post ever existed.

But then they tried to justify what they did:-

BBC 5Live didn't just Hide the discussion about UK Anti-Israel sentiment - they OBLITERATED IT!!!

We said previously that whenever we see something pro-Israel on BBC 5Live Messageboards we do a screen capture because we believe that BBC Moderators will do all in their power to supress such discussions that might put Israel in a positive light.

When Ron Prosor, Israeli Ambassador in the UK wrote an item in the Daily Telegraph to explain how Britain had become more anti-Israel a poster wanted to discuss it. Its news, its current news and it relates to the UK. It qualifies to be discussed. So, they did! Here is the proof:-

Here is the BBC Messageboard soon after the BBC simply cast that Discussion off into the ether as if it never existed.

We are led to believe that another discussion that took an angle of Academic Boycotts from this article was also censored and Hidden.

MPAC are bleating about 42 days pre-charge detention for terrorists. It is a UK Home Office fact that there have been at least 100 convictions for Terrorism (almost exclusively Islamist Terrorism) and since March 2007 the number is around 60 convictions. This doesn't include a current "Airplane Plot" trial where a Terrorist has already admitted guilt in attempting to plant bombs as Heathrow, although this isn't the charge that he is under and so this may be a smokescreen. By his own words he admits he is a Terrorist.

So why are MPAC UK so concerned? Clearly they current Terrorist Threats are from the Muslim community. Its not a racist or Islamaphobic point to simply state what is obvious and demonstrable.

To present their case they resort to a Swastika, effectively labelling the British Government as Nazis and so align their argument to their own dalliance with Antisemitism. Remember Asghari Bukhari admnits sending money to the Antisemite Holocaust Denier David Irving.

We have watched BBC 5Live Messageboards for a while and it seems obvious to us that a pro-Israel thread can be Hidden and taken out of debate by what we believe are the Islamist and Antisemites who post at 5Live. Also, an item that might discuss an issue to do with Islam or Muslims will be similarly attacked. As we write this someone has complained about the news of a Muslim solicitor/Lawyer who is sadi by the Daily Mail to earn £1m a year defending people like Abu Hamza, with the money coming from legal aid http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1024677/Abu-Hamzas-Muslim-lawyer-earns-1m-year-legal-aid-representing-terror-suspects.html (she denies the allegation)

Here is what you do. You adopt a two-step strategy:- Simply reference your news source with an accurate thread title. Simply state in a small sentence what its about and ask a question like "What does anyone else think?" Then leave it.

If you are referencing a true news source and you are merely bringing forward  for discussion the there is no way they should be considering Hiding it while they make a ruling. It should be obvious to any Moderator that you have said nothing that can be complained about.

Now that its up there you can follow it with any supplemental debate or points you want to make. If you break the rules (or suffer censoring complaints) then at least your thread stays open.

If your item is Hidden then just re-submit it with a re-write straight away and be sensitive to what may have caused the complaint. Under BBC rules if they decide to remove your post you are invited to re-submit with the offending item taken out. However, they never tell you what's wrong with it. You have to guess.

We think its bad to make complaints JUST to stifle debate. We have ONE exception. If the poster at 5Live is the Antisemitic wendymann (or israhel - as she once calle herself) then complain! complain! and complain! until the Antisemite is banned. BTW, anyone can complain. ( We are referring to someone at 5Live using that handle and no other Wendy Mann in existence. We do not believe we are advocating action against any REAL Wendy Mann's only the personna of the handle.)

Said Galloway to a caller who tried to justify the Jews return to The Promised Land. It was given to the Jews by God as his Chosen People. The caller said that this what what God wanted and no-one will ever change that.

Galloway mocks the caller "Who wrote Exodus?" he asks, implying that it was men who wrote Exodus and so the idea of God's gift to the Jews was simply a man-made piece of chicanery.

Who wrote the New Testament George? Who wrote the Koran. Obviously, if Galloway can allude that the Old Testament was written by men then he must lay the same claim against the Koran. The Koran could not be the word of Allah according to Galloway's ideas since it incorporates the story of Exodus and if that was written by man - then the Koran is imperfect and suspect. Go on George, tell that to your Muslim constituency.

We could go further, if God wasn't involved then Moses couldn't be a prophet. Hence he couldn't be a prophet of Islam. Isn't Galloway really dissing the whole story and so denying the prophet status of a prophet of Islam? What! No rage???

Galloway asks what has something written 2,000 years ago got to do with the present day. So, equally what has the New Testament and Koran got to do with the Modern era either.

Galloway ALSO discussed his Catholic faith. He stated that he was a committed Scot who also had his heart in Ireland and no-one would ever make him give up that connection.

So Galloway, never suggest that any Jew who supports Israel should go to Israel. We aren't saying he ever has but let's him never say it.

We have been watching BBC 5Live Messageboards recently because of an extraordinary number of deleted discussions. We have evidence that if you discuss "Israel" or "Antisemitism" then the BBC will stop you discussing it. We saw a reasonable post about the UCU second attempt at a boycott. Sensing that the BBC has a tendency recently to bar discussions that are supportive of Israel we took a screen capture (just in case). Here is what that message was that the BBC thought was so terrible, so unsuitable, so rule-breaking that it needed to be censored.

It appears to be UK News, Current News and seems to fit all the BBC rules. So why have they banned it?

UPDATE: The post has remained hidden for 3 Hours at the last time we peeked. You could NOT get more minimalists. There is nothing offensive here and so we assume that this is BBC extreme prejudice. Here is proof they hid it a second time.

UPDATE: The reason the discussion was Hidden turns out to be that it linked to the Legal Opinion document which happened to be a .PDF - and that is against the rules. Well OK, but why take over a day to tell the poster and effectively destroy the debate?
