Palestinian bombs kill Palestinians during IDF raid

Is what the BBC headline SHOULD say. Not "Family killed during raid in Gaza". http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/7370502.stm

They completely ignore the facts:- http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/978613.html

IDF: Gaza blast was caused by militants' explosives - The Israel Defense Forces said Monday that a blast that killed six Palestinian civilians in northern Gaza earlier in the day was not caused by an IDF tank shell, as the Palestinians had earlier reported, but was rather a result of militants' explosives.

The IDF investigated the incident, which left a Beit Hanoun mother and her four children dead along with a 17-year-old passerby, and concluded that the deadly explosion occurred when the Israel Air Force, targeting two Palestinian gunmen, fired a missile and hit the gunmen's bags, which were full of ammunition. The missile caused the ammunition cache to explode with force, setting off a chain reaction of additional explosions.

But since it seems BBC believes that Israelis tell lies then we don't expect them to give these facts any real prominence as being the focus of the item. You watch. This story will go around the World as "Israelis slaughter Palestinian children".

UPDATE: BBC are now re-writing the item

Israelis and Palestinians have blamed each other for an explosion that killed a mother and her four children in Gaza.

Doctors and residents in Beit Hanoun blamed Israeli tank fire, but the Israeli army said explosives carried by Palestinian militants were responsible.

The army had attacked two gunmen from the air, who must have been carrying explosives that then blew up, it said.
